3.5 stars - I enjoyed Monster Hunter's International, the gun loving former accountant turned monster hunter Owen 'Z' Pitt is a likeable enough character and I read enough of the fantastical that I am not bother by that fact that he is sooooo much more special than he first appears. There are plenty of interesting odd balls in the cast of fellow hunters.
