Wow, this book was so good from start to finish. I can read fantasy but it's not something I really gravitate towards. And possibly, if several of my friend hadn't already read it and raved about it, this would have set on the back burner of my TBR for awhile. I am so glad to have done a group read of this book. I loved both Ildiko and Brishen, such unique characters. I will definitely read on in this series.

Such a good book! don't shy away from the cover! The story is lovely, the writing is great, and the characters are just so real in such a fantasy world...
