Yum!

I devoured this one! Way better than what I expected.

It was such a fun read. Fast-paced and filled with action, a great plot and amazing characters. I haven't read anything by this author before and was so glad to have discovered her.

The UF part was something that I haven't seen too often. The world-builder was pretty complex but easy to follow at the same time. And, frankly, it's one of the few times, from what I've read, when (view spoiler)

Wow wow wow, I think this is my favorite of Hailey Edwards so far. Of course, I can't remember too much of it now since I took too long to review it.

I'm thankful that I have all of the other books in the series (thus far) because I defini ...more

OMG the WORST narrator I've every encountered in my audio book journey. If she would have just read the book and not attempted female/male voices, it would have been great. But the male voices sounded like screeching old men cartoon characters. It was a literal assault on my ears. I had to switch to exclusively reading... which I restarted the story from the beginning to shake off the narrato

Couldn’t get invested this one, but I think it’s more of a me problem, than an issue with the book. Will try again in a month or two.
