Updated: Many friends have recommended this one and it was fairy tale theme month, so I picked this one up again. Really enjoyed it!

Couldn't finish this one - made it about 30%. Too much fairy tale and too much YA. I thought it to be too predictable.

I really liked this Si-Fi re-telling of Cinderella. I laughed and cried. I loved Cinder. Hated her step mother and the mean sister - they were so heartless and abusive. I love that the prince was a real person. All of the characters were complex and multidimensional. Can't wait to read the next story in this series. ...more

It just couldn't hold my attention. I want to bring the rating down, but perhaps my surroundings are at fault and not so much the book.
Looking forward to reading Scarlet again :)

I am just kinda getting tired of reading so many female characters who just don't believe that they can be more than what they are. I understand that Cinder life wasn' ...more

I honestly love Cinderella and all remakes/versions of the story. I love evil queens, kings, enchantment and everything else. This story shared those elements but with so many new variables. I fell in love with the characters. When they were happy I felt it and the opposite is also true. I finished this book in a frenzy because I just couldn't get enough. I'm sure many people figured out all the mystery and secret character past but I never saw it coming. I'm not always quick with that sort of t ...more
