What Members Thought
I enjoyed this book, its probably a 3.5 start read for me. I went into it with too high of expectations so it did take me a bit longer to get into it. The story was predictable and the characters are fairly cookie cutter but there is room for a lot of growth in the future novels. I liked the cyborg and other worldly beings as well as the idea of the futuristic world. However, that world was underdeveloped. I read this book due to the amount of praise surrounding The Lunar Chronicles on social media and forums. I’ll admit that I was really hesitant to read, due the covers and put it off, afraid that I was walking into another Twilight series.
