I'm sorry, I just couldn't.

There were some things that I liked in this book, I won't deny that. I liked the plot and idea of the story, the viking lore and all the clans.
But I absolutely hated the characters! All of them! Ok, some more than others, but still, I couldn't stand the main ones. She acted like a 12 year old! And he wasn't that much better either!
And the writing style was pretty annoying as well.
So I couldn't finish it, I couldn't even read 35%. ...more

First thing you need to know is to not to go into this one expecting something serious-- I did and it took me awhile to adjust to the writing and story. Once I realized who the author was and the story I was in store for, things clicked into place and I really enjoyed this book.

There is action, a cute romance, and ridiculous sometimes over the top humor. We get introduced to a huge cast so remember all the characters can be a chore.
