Wow I am completely shell shocked by how fun this book was to read. If you like the paranormal and fantasy genre you just might love this book.

Ursula was an easy character to like, she had a lot of logic to her, and despite her selective amnesia she still manages to believe there is hope even when it seems that she gets put in a tough situation; all at the same time she is a very strong individual, and smart as well. I wanted to love this book. The story had so much potential, but the main character was hard to love.

This was a maybe a 3.5 star read for me. I liked it, but it wasn't all consuming. However I did care what happened to the characters and was quite upset about Kester. I'd really like Ursula's past to be revealed, maybe it is in the next book and maybe I will even read that book. ...more
