This series is one I've been wanting to start for a while, but just kept putting off. I'm so glad one of my favorite groups on Goodreads decided to read it and give me the kick in the pants I needed. Absolutely flew through this book. It has so much of things I enjoy.

To start, it has some great characters. Jackaby was a mix of Sherlock and Newt Scamander which totally worked for me. He is absolutely adorable. Abigail is more of the detective though, since she is so observant of the normal thing ...more
