Cliffhanger ending, needs another round of edits, but was intriguing enough to keep my attention.
I'm giving this one 3.5 stars.
It definitely held my interest - I read it all within 24 hours, which I don't do too often.
This book has a lot of hype surrounding it. The author's note about the book being dark (not so much) pulls in a lot of readers like me. :-P I have to give the author credit for writing a good blurb.

It's impossible to actually review it without spoilers. Also, I loved that it was set in Oregon.

So, I had no idea where the story was going, at times it felt paranormal, and I didn't see the ending coming at all or the cliff hanger that followed. That said the twist made me like things about one of the characters less, I am not sure whether I'll continue on even though the next book is free for
