This book had me on edge the entire time. I forced myself into not rushing into it, to savor it. It was hard. Once I finished it, I had no idea what to do with myself after. I still don't. What do I read next? Clearly, I am unable to think about anything else after this book just yet.

First things first: I took a quick side trip to the Ilona Andrews website and there is definitely a tenth book scheduled for the Kate Daniels series. This is a big relief for me, as I've really come to love these characters and the fictional world they inhabit. I will hate to see this series end but hopefully Kate & company will go out with a bang, while they are on top. This was an excellent series to read it kept me interested and wanting more. Must read full series in order for all of the characters and how they interact.

Started book Dec. 27th 2017 and finished on Jan. 2, 2018. The dates are not working.
