2.5(ish) This one is pretty hard to rate...

On one hand, it was pretty hot, for a short read. The idea wasn't too bad and well, I did read it fast (though it's 100 pages and I skipped a few stuff, so there is that...).

On the other hand, it was pretty boring. I expected a lot more from this read (it has wonderful reviews!), wanted to be more engaged and, well, I got kinda lost after a while. I wasn't curious about their stories and don't want to see what happens next (thank God it's only 100 pages ...more

It's been almost a year since I read this, but I'm trying to clear out my "review to come" shelf, so I thought I would say something short and sweet here. This was a fun, quick, steamy read with some surprisingly emotional moments — mainly centered around the characters and their own insecurities, especially Caden's — and I definitely had a good time reading it. I went into this one with a ton of hype. Finding love in a stuck elevator... in the dark. I was totally ready to fall in love. Did I? For the most part.
This book is on the shorter side, but honestly, the story is great, the characters were easy to like and I could feel the chemistry between them. This one also made me laugh.
Cute, short, and great to read if you're in between other books. Give this one a try! ...more
