Shelves: fantasy, ya-fantasy, zombie, paranormal, horror
While the concept for this book was unique, it was seriously held back by it's lack of action. I about 2/3 of the way through this novel before giving up on the story entirely. The writing by Ms. Bickle is more then proficient but the lagging pace had me waiting impatiently for something to happen. When it became clear that nothing was actually going to happen I put the book down for good. I was very disappointed with this book for it's poor use of a brilliant idea. ...more
