I absolutely loved this book. I’m 34 and fell happily into this book. I’ve watched the original movies so many times and this book just got all the right notes. I’ll be finishing the series.
I loved every moral that it taught, each mischievous mishap Anne got into, every nuance between Anne and the other children of Avonlea, and her beautiful relationships with Mathew and Marilla Cuthbert.
This book made me laugh, and cry, and smile throughout the entire book. So glad I finally chose to read it!
