I was literally holding my breath during much of this action packed fantasy. This book is even better than her first Graceling, another fantastic book. This heroine(Fire) so magically beautiful everyone that looks upon her desires her in very different ways, some quite ugly She has to fight against impossible odds, run from fantastic beasties, and suffer horrible jealousies. Shelves: my-favorites, high-fantasy
UGHHH I love this book so much that I'm trying to make it last! The author wrote a book before this one called Graceling that I really really enjoyed, but it just doesn't compare to this one! The heroine is probably my favorite character EVER. The sad part is that I don't think the author is going to expand on this storyline. I know she has a book coming up next called "Bitterblue" but it occurs many years after this one. Hopefully the ending ties things up for me!
