I very, VERY much enjoyed this— no actually, I LOVEDDDDD THIS!

Don't know why I waited so long to read it, but the new GORGEOUS paperback covers for the series, and the new book made me finally take the plunge!

I. Am. So. Glad. That. I. Did.
Seriously, it was a fantastic read.

Ayy on to Fire! Series with different protags for the different installments are hit or miss with me, so fingers crossed it is just as good!!! ...more

I bought is book when it first came out as a whim. The characters were very likable and the adventure was exciting, but even now, some years later, I don't feel quite satisfied with it. The plot felt very basic to me and the ending was abrupt.

The story starts out exciting and thrilling, ready for an adventure! Half way through, I was beginning to feel bored, and then it ends. This is definitely one of those books you can just read in one setting, think "that was interesting," and go on with lif ...more
