Well... how can I put this nicely? This book was ok. I wonder if it was just me because KA usually is so good, but I really couldn't get into this one. It seemed like the never ending story to me. I had to force myself to finish this book. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't really good, IMO. I was so bored through the whole book. Halfway through I just wanted the bad guy to hack up everyone with his hatchet and be done with it. I liked the "KA speak"... you know where the men only talk in half sentenc ...more

The story is good but I do not enjoy the childhood love lost and found again as an adult. All I can personally think of while reading/listening to the story is all the time lost and those who are hurt because they become involved with another's true love. MF, Murder, suspense, action packed, great sex scenes.
This book was very long and drawn out. I have enjoyed other series by this author and wanted to see what this series is about. Characters are not from Colorado like her other series are and overlap into other series's. This one is all by itself so far.

The book keeps you interested for the most part, just sections that don't need to be there or shortened. Colt & Feb & a serial killer a person from their past. Will they find the killer before ...more
