Wow! This was good, intense and did a great job of setting up the parameters of a world where time travel is possible - if limited to a few minutes. It also did a good job of connecting me to characters Silas -who is in the lead in this story, but who sounds like a side character in the upcoming series - and to Peri - who will be in the lead. Both characters are brilliant in different ways - he's a wiz at the theory and tech - and she's an out of the box thinker.
