This was a book club assignment. This book for me was about classic domino effect people have on others around them. This domino effect we are mstly not aware of. Like wings of a buterfly we brush the lives of those around us.
The story is set to follow the lives of few individulas in Afganistan and progresses across the world in the wake of changes that echo a decision of one man.
I like the simple example of cause and effect.

Brilliant. A beautiful yet heart breaking journey.
I loved the way every character's story unfolded and overlapped with the other characters in the novel.
I highly disagreed with a couple of things in the book, such as the term 'Jihad' was given an incorrect meaning and a cliched view by the Author. The word itself means to 'strive and to struggle' and quite ironically thats just exactly what the characters in the book were doing; struggling to live a happy life, to be free, and to feel whole.
