Sorry, this book was not for me. It was that meh kind or read, maybe even an ok-ish thing, but nothing more.
I admit, I liked Remy. I really really did, he's the one who got the .5 star. He's the kind of alpha male I normally absolutely love, and yes, I did like him, just not so much as to love this whole book.
The female MC though, Brook, well... She is a different story altogether. I absolutely hate idiots, I really do. And this chick had her fair share of idiotness. True, she had her good pa ...more

I'm seriously fangirling over REMY!!!! If Brooke hadn't snatched him up I certainly would!!! Who doesn't want to try and comfort a strong alpha male, to heal him with all that lusty lovin'!!!!

I'm not sure why this one has such stellar reviews. I had to push myself through this book. There were so many things that didn't work for me. For starters, the main character annoyed me to no end. I should have known I wouldn't like this one when she starts off saying watching the fights is difficult and she feels squeamish about it, only to see the hero fight and fall in love with watching him fight. Like... really?
As a couple, they were okay, but again I didn't completely get it. ...more

I am so happy i took a reccomendation and read this book. It was that good. I can not wait to read more of Remy and Brookes story. And I loved that fact that this book was not a cliff hanger, had a HEA and there will be more books. This is a win win. I see great things in Katy Evans future.
I loved the book thought it was a great story I give it three and a half stars just because I didn't like reading about her feelings all the time but I will definitely read the sequel
