What Members Thought
The Absence of Nectar is an odd hybrid of suspense and Southern humor-it is half Kaye Gibbons and half Greg Iles. For the most part this works and there are some nice twists thrown in. But sometimes it seems to sacrifice tension for humor-definitely the wrong choice in this case. Nonetheless a very enjoyable read.
