This is a wonderful book for children. I enjoyed it, just not as much as I would have had I been in the targeted age range.

The reader, Adam Grupper, was so good! He had the perfect voice for Ivan and each of the characters. Even tho the story had a happy ending, it was, for the most part, such a sad story that I'm not sure if I'd've read it if I hadn't been on a trip with nothing else to listen to. What a lovely story, told in the first person from the point of view of a gorilla who lives in a shopping mall. And the incredible part is that it is based on a true story of a gorilla who lived in a shopping mall.
What will they think of next??
