This was an odd but enjoyable little steampunk eread which is supposedly a prequel to an upcoming YA series.

Prequel to The girl in the Steele corset. Great introduction to Finley Jayne.

This is my first foray into the world of steampunk fiction.
I enjoyed this little prequel to the series and am looking forward to reading more of Kady Cross.
I like Finley and am curious as to what exactly it is that makes her so "special," how she does the things she can do being the mere "slip of a girl" that she is.

I really liked this story a lot, however the ending was really abrupt. Just seemed to cutoff. However, this is the first part of the series I read. So, we will see how the story continues.
