I first read this one in 2014 and rated it 5 golden stars. Now in 2022, I wonder why I rated it thus.
Judith MacNaught’s writing style and description are flawless, she takes you on a magic carpet ride to Medieval times. Now, unto the story - this one is literally an enemies-to-lovers trope. I fell completely in love with Royce. This book gets 3 1/2 stars.
