I enjoyed this book - although I made the mistake of finding and reading a free online version of it, which was riddled with errors (most of which appeared to be due to poor OCR scanning). If you are interested in this story, get if from the library if available, or purchase it.

WOW. Wow. Wow. I love this book!
I thought I would have read a sci-fi distopic (hopefully a bit splatter) story of men against a triffids. I was wrong. It is much more (and much less as well). It is more about social questions and implications of humankind dealing with a catastrophe that set us back thousands of years.
I find this book brilliant and well thought in every single aspect and bit of the story and possibility it describes.
