Got this one as a birthday gift. Not really my kind of book but I gave it a chance. I cried and cried and cried and in the end I needed to throw the book away.

It to me way too long to finish this book but I'm sure that was directly related to the loss of my mother to cancer along with the loss of my grandmother, also to cancer which in turn forced me to focus on my own mortality and work through my own set of issues. My thoughts are stars I can’t fathom into constellations.
When you feel like the world has wronged you and everything seems so unfair, there are only two kinds of book to go to:
a) book that makes you laugh and put a smile on your face
b) one that is so depressed that when compared, your life’s basically made out of sunshine and rainbow
The Fault in Our Stars happens to be the latter.
