With a good writer, I can usually find two or three passages in a novel that make me stop and think. John Green accomplishes with "The Fault in Our Stars" something which seems inhumanly possible - he supplies jaw-dropping thought, dialogue, narrative, and observation on every other page. For a writer to hold "The Fault in Our Stars" as an example of what we strive to achieve is to reach for the stars in our own work. Any book that can make me feel like that is a good one. Its well written and easy to become attached to the characters. Its about loss and how does one go on after it. I dont have words to do this book justice.
