I liked Nightwalker it was a good start to what looks to be an interesting series. I'm not going to lie, for the first part I couldn't keep focus on it. I'd pick it up read for a bit and find my mind going elsewhere. It was slow starting for me and I feared that it wasn't going to be as good as I had hopped it would be. But like little trooper I am and yes as soon as I typed the words trooper I put on Iron Maiden. But anyways back to the book :P

Nightwalker was pretty good series starter, though at the beginning of the book I found preening, posturing and vampire games of the leading character Mira annoying at times, but once Mira is drawn back into the battle with the terrifying ancient enemy, and Mira stops acting the role of the classic vampiress, I got hooked. I started out with the audio on this one, while the narrator is good, I don't like the voice she gives the characters when listening I found myself tuning out and getting frustrated at how the characters sounded so after about 50% is switched over to the book and ended up finishing in a couple of hours.
