3.5 stars. My only real quibble is that it's a little cringe-y at times in its treatment of the Indian main characters, which is harder to brush off as "from another era" given this was published in 2000.

Sweet read. But had trouble getting the time period in which the story was set thinking it was in the 1800's and in about 20% of the book talking about cars and TV.
