This is one of my all time favorite books. The promise of a touch, kiss, look. Set in a time when women had to keep up certain appearances and men where allowed to be who and what they wanted ..mostly. Where being a strong woman wasn't always an easy thing to be. Love it! I've read this book over and over again since I was young.
