Eh. While I could see myself be somewhat invested in the couple. Tucker as a hero was rather bland (the potential was there though) and the pages worth of side characters should have been used on him and Caro. And the ending, the identity of the killer, while I had em in my suspect list, the whole unraveling just fell flat...
All in all just so meh.

The story was quite good but it took me almost 2 months to finish! Part of it can be attributed to my laziness but the other part was that it was so slow!!! Guess I'm too much of a Yank! LOL
Another thing that irked me was the rampant prejudices against black people and outsiders. Shouldn't these things be behind the 'southerners' for at least 50 years? Guess not... ...more
