I'm not certain I loved it quite as much as the other three, but that might just be because I just finished it. I might write an actual review later, once the book has been officially released and more people have time to read it. The thing is, Maggie Stiefvater's writing style doesn't always work for me. It is so lyrical and circular at times, so I have to be in the right state of mind to read her books and honestly even then they can be hit or miss, much like how I feel with Laini Taylor's books.
Shiver I disliked, The Scorpio Races on audio I enjoyed, The Raven Boys series? seems to fall right in the middle. There are moments and characters I really really liked, but it did feel like the beginning of every boo ...more

As the last book in the series, (almost), this did not disappoint. The biggest thing for me is that I have to like the characters. I will quit reading a book or series for whiny, spoiled, no arc characters that are there only for effect. This series from the get go has a believable, endearing and interesting crew. The gang-Blue, Gansey, Ronan and Adam and Noah, let's not forget him are all on a path of their own and to see them grow through out the series is rewarding. Gansey is smart and heroic
