3.5 This was a pretty good read!

For some reason, I am a bit disappointed by this book (I keep telling myself not to have expectations but I can't do it...).
I've wanted to read it for ages now and, dunno, I wanted a lot more from this one.

Still, it was a really fun read, like you'd expect from Suzanne Wright. I loved the male character and the female one was pretty good too (although a bit typical, both of them).
It's worth reading if you liked her other books!

I am a huge fan of Suzanne Wright's writing and absolutely adore her characters. Since i read Feral Sins, this has become one of my all time favorite shifter series of all times. I was extremely excited when i saw a new Phoenix Pack book was coming out and very curious to learn more about Ryan, the silent serious member of the pack. I love this series and loved this book. I love Mackenna and Ryan two opposites but together perfect. Love that Mackenna can interpret Ryan's grunts when no one else can. Thing I love most about this series and the mercury pack series is we get to see all our fave characters in each book and series and have glimpses into the mated pairs lives and how things are going. I can't wait to see who is going to mate next i have a feeling there maybe something between Tao and the new raven shifter! Also M ...more
