Loved loved loved this book! I'm generally not a big fan of historical romances, but this one had a very modern feel. I love that the lead male character was realistic. He didn't fall head over heels in love with the female lead right off the bat; it took time. To me, that's realistic.

I thought this book would never end. It was way too long. I really didn't like the hero. He had such a stick up his bu** that I had no idea why the heroine loved him. She fell head over heels right away and I sure couldn't figure out why. On the positive side, the writer wrote beautiful descriptions and romantic moments. There were also several really humorous moments. All this resulted in moments of reading where I was very interested followed by dragging chapters that made me want to skip to t
