In this 4th book of the Jaz Parks series, Jaz, Vayl, hr vampire boss/lover and her brother Dave are still on the trail of Edward "The Raptor" Samos and this time find themselves in Greece to team up with Vayl's old Vampere Trust, who have agreed to help locate Samos. When they arrive, they find out that the Deyrar, the leader of the Trust is not whom they thought it was. Instead it is Disa, the only vampire Vayl has ever turned and boy does she turn out to be the bitch from hell!

The night the gang arrive, the vampires are having a celebration of sorts including a live fight between a werewolf and a werebear. Dave, who is still struggling to come to terms with his experience with The Wizard in the last book, has developed an alcohol problem and cannot cope with seeing these two shifters being forced to fight against their wills, just like he had done, so what does he do? Set them free of course with dangerous consequences, but their release does eventually come in handy for Jaz and co.

When Disa binds Vayl to her for the next 50 years, Jaz has to find a way to break the bond, but it just cannot be done. Everyone says so. Killing her will do no good as it will kill Vayl as well whilst they are still bound. Jaz MUST find a way if her and Vayl are ever going to have any sort of future together, which they are finally starting to do at long last!

In order to tempt Samos out in the open, Jaz steals his dog with the most hilarious of consequences. Spraying herself with one of Bergman's inventions, it turns her into the dog's ultimate fantasy and he just cannot get enough of Jaz's clothes, so she names him Jack, short for Jacket Humper! Priceless!

Loved all the action in this book and the determination from Jaz to help Vayl really showed her love for him. I'm so glad she finally admits how she really feels about him and her about her too. Looking forward to seeing how their relationship moves on!

Looking forward to reading the next book in the series, but hope the rest of this series comes out on the Kindle soon! ...more
