I think I kinda outgrew this book series. It is too naively teen and cliche.
I remember the first two books to be better but it has been years since I've read them. I still like the alien story background but somehow it all got messed up in teen drama and angst too much. I felt this book lacks balance. One minute it is cheesy to the point of puking and the next it is action packed but filled with plot holes.

I didn't finish. The premise interested me but as I got into it, I realized that the reason it was interesting was that it's very similar to the TV show Roswell. Only not quite as compelling.
