3.5 Potential!
This series has potential!
It wasn't the best first book I've ever read and well, can't say I loved it too much, but great things could come from this series.
I like the MC. Not love but like . She seems a bit of an idiot at times but we all have out moments.
What I really appreciate though is that it's realistic. OK, as realistic as a PNR can be, but it seems real.
So yes, definitely worth a try.

When I read that the main character, Arcadia Bell, owned a tiki bar, I immediately thought of Mercy Thompson and her repair shop, so I anticipated enjoying this book.
I should know better than to have any expectations before diving into a book and I definitely should never compare a book to one that I really like before I even start to read it.
