This book is a train wreck, you can't look away from it. And yet everyone involved is just terrible, some more than others. I know a lot of people didn't like the ending and I get it. My exact words were "What a *insert title of Nick's book*"! If you are a character reader, you may not like this book because I think it would be hard to connect to either main character. You have to read it for the story. I thought it was good, I hated everyone but I still thought it was good. ...more

Riveting...page turner...a model in escalating tension and sweeping your feet out from under you with plot turns.

Even though the book was a bit slow at first, and in my opinion unnecessarily long, it also gave me a more complex image and understanding of both Nick, Amy and their relationship than the movie. I'm glad I read it! ...more
