I enjoy the entire series. I love that Sookie is a bright, independent woman who does not want to rely on a man to live her day-to-day life. This series is definitely for adults. The books are much better than the HBO series.

This book was amazingly better than the first. I loved the flirting between Eric and Sookie and think they have more chemistry than she does with Bill! Eric is funny and sexy! This was a fun, fast-paced read with the right dose of mystery. I really enjoyed learning more about Bill's past in this one. This book has made me want to continue reading the series and see what new adventures await Sookie and her entourage of supernatural friends! ...more

Another fantastic book in the Southern Vampire Mysteries series. I forgot how good this one was as it has been several years now since I last read it. Quite different from Series 2 of TrueBlood, but I am now seeing them more and more as completely separate stories with only a few similarities. Love both to bits though!

This book was even better than the first one. The relationship between Bill and Sookie is amazing. There are so may twists and turns that I never know what is going to happen next or if Sookie will continue to love Bill or find someone else. I will have to see what happens next in the next book Club Dead.
