I really enjoyed this book. I think more so than the prequel. I love Kyrian’s character a whole lot and love how he progresses throughout the book. We meet Nick, someone we will see in all the other books who even has a series of his own.

This book was so much better than it’s prequel Fantasy Lover. Following Amanda and Kyrian, we get to meet other Dark-Hunters as we follow their romance. Amanda is lovable and Kyrian you fall in love with the moment he’s on the page.

Shelves: good-series, typical-for-its-genre, guilty-pleasure
Sherrilyn Kenyon is my guilty pleasure. Her books are utterly predictable, the sex scenes border on saccharin, the inner monologues of how bad each MC wants the other is tedious and, yet, I cannot help but like them. Whenever I read a spate of annoying/boring/I-can't-believe-they're-so-popular-cos-it-was-shite books I turn to the Dark Hunter series because I know exactly what I'm going to get. Great series
