I really liked the beginning of this book. The romance, the mystery of the curse and Julian and Grace's dynamic and relationship. However, the reason I did not give this book 4 stars was how she portrayed Aphrodite and Athena. They seemed cheesy and rushed and ver ooc from the brief moments we did see them earlier in the book. They both seemed to be written by a what seemed to be a teenage girl n the end. Their characters did not match how I would assume goddesses would act, especially ...more

Didn't think I'd like it
I didn't think I'd like it and I don't. I love it. Very interesting plot and kept me interested throughout the whole book. No breaks between chapters and that is a rarity for me.
