I honestly think I would have enjoyed this much more in the context of an analysis course. I didn't decide I liked it until well over halfway through--the beginning felt like a bit of a tedious slog. I had no patience for Lydia or Mrs. Bennett and found myself wanting to skip paragraphs where they were speaking.
