I liked this book even better then the first installment. Now I have to wait until July 2010 to see what trouble Merit is walking in to. I do wish however that she and Ethan would just stopping fighting the obvious, they are crazy about each other. Go for it, you'll enjoy it. ...more

A fantastic sequel to the Chicagoland Vampire series. Love how Merit and Ethan's relationship is slowly panning out - glad she got rid of the Navarre boy! He wasn't the one for her.

I so want my BF to buy me a 12K dress though just for one's night partying LMAO

Glad that Merit seems to have found peace and control with what she has become and I just hope that she and Mallory can fix the repairs in their relationship too. I think they would be a very powerful force to be reckoned with if they teame ...more

I couldn't put this one down! Better than the first! I love the sexual tension between Merit and Ethan and just found myself saying: Will they get it on already!?! When those two get together it's magic! The characters are quite funny and great, and it doesn't hurt that all of the men in the book are drop dead gorgeous! It was like a reunion with old friends..I'm anxiously awaiting the next adventure! Love triangles, magic, mystery, vampires and shifters..what more could you want?! ...more
