What Members Thought

In the end, I liked this book. Not the best in the series and honestly some of the topics STILL brought up in this book were rather annoying.
FRIENDS CAN LOVE EACH OTHER my god. Love doesn't have to be exclusive to couples. Rachel, Jenks, and Ivy are family and I've always read them that way.
Rachel is super insecure in this book, but I get it. Her fear is loving people -- we've known this, so she has to get over it. I thought it dragged a bit, but that's just how it is with insecurities.

I felt a huge disconnection from the rest of the book series while I was reading this last book. I'm afraid I have let too much time to pass between this book and the previous book of the series. I just could not get into the metaphysics and the world was hard to understand.
The saving grace were the characters I loved reading about.
Most of the book was too chaotic for me to follow.
I was not pleased with the ending and the concept of it.

The end of a long road, and the resolution of so much. It suffers from being the tenth part of a much longer story, but that doesn't detract from its quality, just that when you view it as an individual entry it isn't as complete. It's like reading the last three chapters of a book and judging the plot and characterization solely on that.
But there's Jenks, and Ivy, and Rachel, and one last chance to see them on a wedding day. ...more

The One With The Dream Ending ;)
This was a great ending to the series back when it was intended to be the last one. It was a satisfying conclusion, but also left enough questions unanswered that now - ignoring the last chapter set years later - it's a great not-quite-the-end-yet that leads seamlessly into the next book. And I'm always happy about more Hollows. I can never get enough of Rachel, Trent and Al. (And other characters as well, I suppose, but mostly those three.) ...more
