Really a great plot, but the lack of punctuation and names drove me crazy.

Edit: I had originally rated Blindness three stars, but after pondering it for another day, I'm down-grading it to two stars. So much that happens in this novel is just unbelievable: (1) Why were the men of the "hoodlum" ward stealing money and valuables from the others in quarantine? What possible use could they have for money in their quarantine? And if they did regain their sight, then, of course, they would be prosecuted for theft.
