"Bravo! Bravo!" I shouted (literally shouted), upon finishing this masterpiece from the inimitable Donna Tartt.
The Secret History, which is easily one of the best novels of the 20th century, established Tartt as a genuine literary genius. Having so greatly loved The Secret History, it was with great anticipation that I took up The Goldfinch.
