What Members Thought

This book (published in 2018) is a remarkable achievement on the part of Behrouz Boochani written as it was whilst he was incarcerated as an illegal asylum seeker on Manus Island.
Boochani's account features the overwhelming negative emotions which come to humans when day after day there is absolutely no respite from the hunger, fear, loneliness, anxiety, indifference, powerlessness, hopelessness which appear to be part and parcel of life for detainees on Manus Island.
