This is a thought-provoking, speculative fiction treatment of the
story of the colonial dispossession of the indigenous people of Australia which began with the arrival of the First Fleet in 1788. I was impressed from the beginning with the insights Claire G. Coleman brought to the story about the devastating effects of colonisation on the “meagre” Natives.
