What Members Thought
This is a skilfully constructed, character driven story about an American marriage which I suspect is emblematic of many marriages the world over. The relationships between friends and lovers propel and give flesh to this tale of indecision and breakdown but pre-marriage relationships between parents and children (fathers and sons in particular) are reckoned to be determinants of a successful (or otherwise) marriage.
