What Members Thought
This simply told story is set at the height of Mao's Cultural Revolution and tells how two young men, themselves being "re-educated", take it upon themselves to enlighten The Little Seamstress of the title. Along the way there are pitfalls a plenty, an ending I did not expect and some intriguing characters but the novel failed to really engage me so I have rated it accordingly.
