This is amazing. I did not want to rush through it. Try it. It could appeal to people interested in (very) alternative histories, it is story and setting oriented with surrealist art becoming manifested in a war zone.
China Mieville never fails to deliver something new and completely out of the ordinary. i definitely need to do some research on the surrealists now!
